Irish-born Garry signed with the UFC on the heels of capturing the Cage Warriors welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Jack Grant in June. Prior to that, the unbeaten 23-year-old scored a head-kick knockout of UFC veteran Rostem Akman, his fifth finish in seven pro fights. Garry recently made the move to Sanford MMA in Florida in anticipation of his U.S. debut.
Williams will be in search of his first octagon win. Since punching his ticket to the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2020, Williams has dropped back-to-back bouts to Nassourdine Imavov and most recently a submission loss to Mickey Gall in his welterweight debut in July.
