The Seattle Seahawks added two more players to their roster, successfully acquiring former San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Dakoda Shepley and former Baltimore Ravens defensive back Nigel Warrior off waivers.
Shepley (6-foot-5, 290 pounds) played his college football in Canada at British Columbia. He appeared in one game last season with the Niners, playing five special teams snaps. With Shepley in the mix, Seattle now has seven offensive tackles on the roster.
Warrior (5-foot-11, 187 pounds) went to college at Tennessee, where he posted four interceptions and 60 tackles in his senior season (2019). After going undrafted he did not get on the field for the Ravens as a rookie.
The reported trade for Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Sidney Jones (a former Washington star) is still unofficial, but once it goes through Seattle will have a full 53-man roster. So, they’ll have to cut at least two players to make room for Shepley and Warrior.
