Earlier this week Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer finally did the right thing and named Trevor Lawrence the team’s starting quarterback.
It wasn’t a surprising move, of course, as the Jaguars used the No. 1 pick in last April’s draft on Lawrence and he’s looked liked a starting NFL QB for a few years now.
On Sunday, Lawrence went out against the Cowboys in Dallas and looked really darn good in his final appearance before the start of the regular season. It’s the last regular season game and the Cowboys are sitting some guys but still, Lawrence looked very sharp.
He went 11 of 12 for 139 yards and two touchdowns (his first TDs in the preseason) before being pulled from the game early in the second quarter.
Let’s check out some of his highlights.
