Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green was among those in attendance on Saturday to watch the Fresno State Bulldogs dominate the UConn Huskies in their season opener.
Green grew up in Fresno and played much of his high school career in the area. He has often shown love to his hometown since leaving for the NBA G League, and even returned over the summer to help revamp a local basketball court.
He was treated to a convincing win on Saturday as the Bulldogs defeated the Huskies, 45-0. Bulldogs quarterback Jake Haener completed 20-of-26 pass attempts for 331 yards and three touchdowns, while Ronnie Rivers accounted for 124 yards and a touchdown in the air and on the ground.

After a strong performance in the Las Vegas Summer League, Green returned to his hometown to enjoy some of his down time before the start of his rookie season. Fortunately, he was able to watch Fresno State beat up on UConn and get the win.
