Report: ESPN showing interest in Warriors’ Draymond Green for NBA coverage

ESPN is reportedly showing interest in Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green for NBA coverage.

Following a decorated career in the NBA, filled with All-Star game appearances, Defensive Player of the Year awards and championships, Draymond Green won’t have trouble finding a job away from the court.

The Golden State Warriors forward has found success while serving as a guest analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” broadcast. Green has brought impressive insight and analysis to the desk alongside Charles Barkley, Kenny “The Jet” Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson.

While he’s still an essential piece for the Warriors’ attempt at a run back to the postseason in the 2020-21 season, Green is reportedly receiving interest for his work in front of the camera.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, ESPN is interested in Green for NBA coverage when he’s available. As a current player with Golden State, Green would only be available to join ESPN’s coverage on occasion, per Marchand.

During the 2020-21 campaign, Green averaged seven points on 44.7% shooting from the floor with 8.9 assists and 7.1 rebounds per contest. The Michigan State product earned a spot on the NBA’s All-Defensive First Team.
