An exciting women’s flyweight matchup is in the works for UFC Fight Night on Nov. 13.
[autotag]Andrea Lee[/autotag] is set to meet [autotag]Jessica Eye[/autotag] at a Fight Night event that does not yet have a confirmed venue or location.
Multiple sources with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking on Thursday but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Lee (12-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC) will be looking to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since 2019. At UFC 262, she defeated Antonina Shevchenko in the second round with an impressive triangle-armbar submission. The victory ended a three-fight skid that included a pair of close split decision losses to Joanne Calderwood and Lauren Murphy.
Eye (15-10 MMA, 5-9 UFC) was recently in action at UFC 264 against Jennifer Maia in a bout she lost via decision. The former title challenger will be looking to snap a three-fight unanimous decision losing streak, which included outings that did not go her way against Joanne Calderwood and Cynthia Calvillo. A decision victory against Viviane Araujo at UFC 245 preceded her recent skid.
With the addition, the UFC Fight Night lineup for Nov. 13 include:
- Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez
- Philip Lins vs. Ovince Saint Preux
- Tucker Lutz vs. Lando Vannata
