The Brooklyn Nets enter the 2021-21 season with championship-or-bust expectations, and we’re one step closer to the start of the new year with the release of the regular-season schedule.
Teams will kick off training camp Sept. 28 as they prepare for the grueling campaign. The Brooklyn Nets will be chasing a championship again, and that quest begins against the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 19. With the Nets set to make headlines on opening night and Christmas Day, here are some other games to look for:
Oct. 19: Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks (7:30 ET, TNT)
Oct. 22: Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers (7:30 ET, ESPN)
Nov. 30: New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets (7:30 ET, ESPN)
Dec. 25: Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers (8 ET, ESPN/ABC)
Dec. 27: Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 ET, NBA TV)
Jan. 29: Brooklyn Nets at Golden State Warriors (8:30 ET, ABC)
Feb. 8: Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (7:30 ET, TNT)
Lock these must-watch games into your calendar. The Sixers are still a contender in the East, so that matchup will give us a first look at who will top the East in the early stages. As for Brooklyn’s bitter rivals, the New York Knicks, they will be at Barclays Center on Nov. 30 for the first duel of the season.
As for the Clippers, they made it to the Western Conference finals last season without their best player, Kawhi Leonard. It is clear they will contend for a championship. The Warriors join them in that race out West. On Jan. 29, Kevin Durant will return with fans in the arena for the first time. Last but not least, the Celtics are hungry for revenge on Feb. 8 after getting eliminated by the Nets last season in five games.
