Jacksonville Jaguars first-round pick Travis Etienne suffered a foot injury during Monday night’s preseason game against the New Orleans Saints, and the prognosis is still up in the air.
The former Clemson star was spotted on crutches after the game, and while X-rays were negative, further tests will be done to determine the full extent of the injury, as well as how long Etienne will be out of action (per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport).
The No. 23 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Etienne is expected to team up with former Clemson teammate Trevor Lawrence and help the Jaguars take their rebuild to the next level.
