When the summer league edition of the Golden State Warriors were on the floor in Las Vegas, the No. 7 and No. 14 pick from the 2021 NBA draft were on display.
While Jonathan Kuminga added a flurry of highlight-reel dunks, Moses Moody showed off his smooth scoring repertoire. The rookie shooting guard finished second in scoring average for the Warriors with 16.3 points per contest on 44.4% shooting from the field. Moody added 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and an assist per game in four summer league contests.
During the Warriors win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Arkansas product led the Warriors with a game-high 22 points. Moody caught fire from deep against the Thunder, drilling a trio of triples from beyond the arc.
With the NBA’s time in Las Vegas officially in the books, Rookie Wire named their All-Rookie team for the summer league. Moody joined fellow lottery picks Chris Duarte and Evan Mobley on Rookie Wire’s summer league All-Rookie third team.
