Fans attending games at Spartan Stadium this fall will need to bring a mask with them per new requirements announced by the school on Friday.
Michigan State is requiring fans to wear facial coverings or masks indoors any campus building, which includes the concourse of Spartan Stadium, restrooms, elevators, indoor suite and club areas, and the press box. Fans are also being encouraged to wear masks when in the outdoor seating bowl of Spartan Stadium, but are not required to do so.
The Spartans announced these new requirements the same week rival-Michigan revealed similar guidelines.
Michigan State’s first home game of the 2021 season will take place on Sept. 11 against Youngstown State.
