The Oklahoma City Thunder’s 2021-22 schedule was released on Friday afternoon. Now all that’s left to do is wait.
The Thunder will tip off the season on Wednesday, Oct. 10 against the Utah Jazz at 8 p.m. Central Time.
All times on the schedule above are listed by the local time of the home team.
Oklahoma City’s first home game of the year will be Oct. 24 in a 6 p.m. matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The NBA is returning to an 82-game schedule after playing just 72 this past season due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Thunder play six games in October, 14 in November, 15 in December, 14 in January, 12 in February, 15 in March and six in April.
They will have 14 back-to-backs this season.
Last year, the Thunder got off to a surprise start, going 20-27 through March before Shai Gilgeous-Alexander got injured and Al Horford benched. From April 1 on, Oklahoma City went 2-23.
Oklahoma City will likewise be relying on young players this season, but with Gilgeous-Alexander back in the lineup, the team should be able to be more competitive than they were at the end of the season.
The Thunder will soon see draft picks like Josh Giddey, Tre Mann and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl in action alongside the rest of the young core.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday at 10 a.m.
