Jedrick Wills (ankle) returns to practice

Wills got his ankle rolled up on yesterday but says he is good to go today.

Injuries continue to be a big story for the Cleveland Browns as players continue to sit out practices and new players get added to the injury list almost daily. With the New York Giants coming to town and the physicality expected to ramp up, injuries will continue to be a big concern for a Cleveland team with Super Bowl aspirations.

Yesterday, the Browns got a scare when left tackle Jedrick Wills was forced to leave practice early. The team also, once again, saw safety Grant Delpit leave with a reaggravation of his hamstring.

While Delpit remains sidelined Thursday, Wills provided a positive update on his condition prior to the first practice with the Giants:

 

Going into his second season, Wills is a vital part of the Browns goals in 2021. A quick return from an ankle problem, especially given how cautious Cleveland has been this training camp, is a great sign that it will not linger moving forward.
