Ahead of their Preseason Week 2 matchup on Saturday night at Raymond James Stadium, the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are holding a pair of joint practices in Florida, with the first taking place on Wednesday.
This is the first joint practice either team has held since 2019, as the sessions weren’t allowed league-wide in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The joint practices will be a great measuring stick for the Titans with the Bucs beinge Super Bowl champions and having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.
Unfortunately, the Bucs won’t be deploying their starters in the actual game, as Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians revealed earlier this week. Still, the practices will be enough to gauge where Tennessee is right now, especially on defense.
After Wednesday’s session, the Titans and Bucs will meet again on Thursday for the second practice. Here’s the news, notes and video from Day 1.
