The Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with a massive amount of injuries ever since their 2021 training camp began. After seeing some players return over the last few days, Baltimore watched one of their stars limp off of the practice field on Tuesday.
Ravens Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey left practice early after appearing to slip while in a one on one drill. Humphrey stayed down for a bit and then limped to locker room.

While many held their breath in hopes that the injury wasn’t serious, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reported that Humphrey was dealing with a mild strain.
Small correction: Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey is dealing with mild strain and not considered serious.
Humphrey was injured about an hour into today’s practice.

The reported diagnosis is good news for the Ravens. As they’ve done with many of their injured players already, it wouldn’t be shocking for the team to take a cautious approach with Humphrey. It would be a big blow to Baltimore’s defense if he were to miss any time during the regular season, so they can take the time now to let him heal and get 100% healthy before the Ravens’ Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
