This past week we found out that the NFL wants to cut back on players having fun and even possibly taunting their opponents after big plays and the refs have been asked to be more aggressive with throwing flags for taunting.
Players can be fined and even suspended for taunting an opponent and if a player gets two taunting calls in one game they will be thrown out of the game.
Well, on Sunday we saw this dumb stuff become a reality when Colts fourth-string running back Benny LeMay got flagged for being excited after carrying a pile of defenders 10 yards.
Look at this:
This is an example of the taunting the league doesn't want to see in games. Just happened in the #Panthers–#Colts game.pic.twitter.com/Tu70GjBxwU

I mean, come on. He barely said anything to the defender before turning and flipping the ball to the ref. Are you not allowed to show emotions anymore, especially in such an intense and dangerous game?
That’s just a really stupid call by the ref and there are going to be a lot more of these this year, which is going to be a big problem.
