The 2020 Heisman winner, former Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith, has been sidelined from recent training camp activities and preseason games due to a tweaked knee, an injury he suffered during a practice.
The injury, while minor, should be fully healed by the time the season open for the Philadelphia Eagles.
A video posted to Twitter by ESPN Eagles beat reporter, Tim McManus, shows Smith moving swiftly and without hesitation in non-contact footwork drills.
This video doesn’t show much, but it should make fans feel some sense of relief, knowing that Smith is not going to be held back from full participation soon.
