Josh Giddey, Tre Mann out again for Thunder’s game vs. Pacers

Thunder rookies Josh Giddey and Tre Mann are out against the Pacers on Saturday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s two top draft picks will be out again when they take on the Indiana Pacers on Saturday evening.

No. 6 overall pick Josh Giddey and No. 18 pick Tre Mann will not play. Giddey suffered an ankle sprain in the first game and has only seen five minutes of court time in summer league. Mann departed the team for personal reasons before the third game.

Summer league head coach Grant Gibbs joins them as inactive. Gibbs is away from the team due to COVID-19 protocol.

The Thunder were coached in the game on Friday night by Kameron Woods.

Oklahoma City is 1-2 so far in summer league. The Thunder beat the Detroit Pistons in the opener but lost to the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors in consecutive games.

They will try to pull their record to .500 against the Pacers on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. Central time.
