Finding themselves among the leaders in terms of wins and losses in this year’s Las Vegas Summer League standings, the Boston Celtics are looking good after a pair of blowout wins over the Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic summer league squads.
The truncated schedule to get to the 2021 summer league title game may not be quite the uphill climb it has been thanks to the impositions necessitated by an ongoing pandemic. Even still, that the young Celtics summer league roster is in the mix to get into the title game is a promising wrinkle paying some dividends for Boston.
And it’s something they have been thinking about as a team too, according to second-year forward Aaron Nesmith.
