The Miami Dolphins’ first of two practices with the Chicago Bears was a bit of a roller coaster. The team was committed to practicing outside with select fans in attendance, signifying an open practice. Then came the lightning delay. From there, practice was pushed inside; prompting the fans to be sent home and causing the practice to be reclassified as closed to the public. What does that mean? No more live commentary for media in attendance.
Bummer, right? Well, only partially.
Because the Dolphins have pulled back the curtain a bit to give fans a peek at how practice went throughout the course of the day on Wednesday. Nothing glamorous or extravagant, but certainly enough to whet the appetite of Dolphins fans everywhere.
So go ahead, Dolphins fans. Dig in. Hopefully the teaser is enough to get you juiced for another day of practice or, at the very least, a little more excited for Saturday. The Dolphins will officially face off against the Bears at 1PM EST from Solider Field for their first contest of the 2021 season. And based on the expectation levels for Miami and the nature in which the team’s 2020 season came to a close, it is hard to imagine any Dolphins fan not chomping at the bit to see the team back in the saddle and trying to up the stakes once again.
