Sixers to host rival Nets in a preseason matchup on October 11

The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Brooklyn Nets on October 11 in a preseason matchup.

Regardless of what happens with Ben Simmons, the Philadelphia 76ers will be a title contender entering the 2021-22 season. That’s what happens when a team has Joel Embiid and other talented players.

The Brooklyn Nets are one of the teams the Sixers will battle for Eastern Conference supremacy. They are led by Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

The teams will clash in Philadelphia on Oct. 11 as part of the preseason schedule Brooklyn announced.

The Sixers have not announced any details about the preseason schedule, but with this game confirmed, the rest of the schedule should be released soon. The regular season in the NBA is set to begin on Oct. 19.
