The Season 2 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” has signed a an exclusive multifight contract with Bellator, MMA Junkie learned from two people with knowledge of the situation Wednesday.
Barzola (16-5-2 MMA) fought out his contract with the UFC back in March 2020, ending his tenure with a draw against veteran Rani Yahya at UFC Fight Night 170. The bout with Yahya was his bantamweight debut, as he previously competed in the UFC at lightweight and featherweight.

The Peruvian fighter competed under the UFC banner from 2015 to 2020, racking up a record of 6-3-1. He holds notable wins over Gabriel Benitez, Matt Bessette and Brandon Davis.
Barzola is expected to compete in Bellator at 135 pounds.
