Former Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was drafted by the Miami Dolphins at No. 6 overall. He joins a Dolphins offense headlined by his former college teammate, Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa did not have as strong a rookie season in 2020 as he would have hoped for. A large portion of the disappointment was placed on the receiving corps.
Bringing Waddle in is a massive help for the offense. Not only are Waddle’s skills elite, but the pre-existing chemistry between him and Tagovailoa give them an added bonus.
Waddle and Tagovailoa’s connection is active and well, as seen in videos posted to Twitter showing the two making big plays.
A recent video shared online puts Waddle’s route-running abilities on full display.
