Preeeeettty sure the #Eagles defense won the day. Offense, all units, struggled most of practice. Lone highlight was 3d team converting short third down at end, which appeared to have something at stake judging by enthusiastic reaction by the offense.

The Eagles are having identity issues through the first two weeks of training camp, and while the defense is looking like a top-10 unit, Shane Steichen’s offense has struggled lately.
Those offensive struggles culminated on Saturday with some media members are describing it as one of the worst training camp practices in recent memory.
Biggest takeaway from the latest full-team work: Either this Eagles defense is going to be hard to complete a pass against this season or this first-team offense has much to improve during the next month.

Jalen Hurts had a bad day, but it wasn’t all him. Little separation by the receivers, OL issues, etc. Just across the board bad offense.

Really bad day today for the offense. One pass by Hurts was into double coverage and broken up. Next play was to Reagor and it looked like a miscommunication #Eagles

If they were allowed to sack the QB the defensive line might have 10+ sacks today #Eagles

More accurately, now that it is over, that was one of the worst offensive practices I’ve ever seen.

Besides a few nice catches from Travis Fulgham, the #Eagles defense owned the day. https://t.co/n5Q3E654Lv

Philadelphia was without several offensive starters (DeVonta Smith) on Saturday, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of efficiency, timing, and the inability to keep the opposing pass rushers from harassing Jalen Hurts and the other quarterbacks.
In regards to Hurts, his inability to look dominant through the first two weeks and his continued struggles with accuracy issues are one of the main reasons Deshaun Watson is currently being discussed.
