Ashley Rogers received a national academic honor.
Rogers, a pitcher for the Lady Vols, has been named Second-Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
The CoSIDA announced its Academic All-America Teams on Thursday.
Rogers led the Southeastern Conference with a 1.32 ERA in 2021. She was second in the conference with 296 strikeouts.
Rogers recorded 26 wins and pitched eight shutouts for Tennessee in 2021.
She is a pre-med major and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Rogers was named second-team All-America by the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association after being named first-team All-Region by the organization. She was also a first-team All-SEC performer last season.
