Wisconsin OL Logan Bruss named to the Outland Trophy Watch List

Wisconsin starting offensive lineman Logan Bruss joined some of his linemates today, as he was named to a national watch list for a prestigious college football award.

He made the Outland Trophy Watch List, the award for the nation’s best interior lineman.

The two most recent Badgers to win the award are Joe Thomas in 2006 and Gabe Carimi in 2010.

While the watch list is labeled for “interior lineman” and Bruss is the Badgers’ starting right tackle, the history of the award sees offensive tackles, defensive tackles, centers and guards as honorees.

Bruss joins linemates Kayden Lyles and Tyler Beach on national watch lists with the season nearly five weeks away.
