The Texas Longhorns boast one of the proudest college football traditions in the nation.
The Longhorns have won more than 900 games since they began play in 1893. Texas has won 28 conference championships (25 in the Southwest Conference and three in the Big 12) and has claimed four national titles (1963, 1969, 1970, 2005).
More than 350 Longhorns have been selected in the NFL draft over the years, including 46 in the first round. Texas also has 24 members of the College Football Hall of Fame, including Earl Campbell, Bobby Layne, Darrell Royal, Ricky Williams and Vince Young.
