Another top linebacker is looking at the LSU Tigers as one of his top schools. This one hails from their own backyard.
Five-star linebacker Jaiden Ausberry plays his high school ball right there in Baton Rouge, so Ed Orgeron and his staff won’t have to travel far to find him. The 2023 No. 2 ranked linebacker plays at University Laboratory School. Ausberry also has tiger blood, his father Verge Ausberry is a former linebacker and former Executive Deputy AD for LSU. Jaiden was born for the purple and gold.
There is no timetable at this point of the process for Ausberry to narrow down his list even further. He will still have 18 months before he would even have to make that decision with the early signing period of December in 2022. However, based on the ties to the program, LSU has to feel good about where they stand with the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2023 class.
