Mekhi Becton might be the Jets’ top Twitter hype man, but he also has time for offensive linemen not on his team.
The Jets tackle shouted out fellow 2020 draft class member Tristan Wirfs for his insane 48-inch seated box jump video, which was posted on Monday. Wirfs was taken two spots after Becton by the Buccaneers.

Wirfs was already known as an extremely athletic offensive lineman, even before his rookie season. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Wirfs ran the fastest 40-yard time for his position (4.85 seconds) and set records for the broad jump and vertical jump with leaps of 10-foot-1 and 36.5 inches, respectively. Becton ran the 40 well with a time of 5.1 seconds.
Becton is an impressive physical specimen himself and was recently named the sixth-best tackle in an ESPN survey of executives, coaches, scouts and players. Wirfs finished eighth on that same list.
