Around the NBA: Devin Booker, Suns surge to another win over Bucks in game 2 of the NBA Finals, 118-108

While the Golden State Warriors prepare for the upcoming draft, Warriors Wire is taking a look at the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.

As the Golden State Warriors turn their attention to the draft after a pair of losses in the Western Conference play-in tournament, Warriors Wire is looking around the association with the NBA Finals officially underway.

After Chris Paul pushed the Phoenix Suns to a victory in game one, his partner in the backcourt took over in game two. With the Suns leading the series 1-0 at home, Devin Booker took advantage before the Finals shifted to Milwaukee.

Following a dominant second quarter, the Suns held an 11 point advantage heading into halftime. While Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 20 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor in the third quarter alone, it wasn’t enough to slow down Booker and the Suns.

Booker notched 31 points on 12-of-25 shooting from the field and seven triples on 12 attempts from deep. The Kentucky Wildcats product added six assists and five boards in 44 minutes to lead the Suns to another win, 118-108.

Antetokounmpo finished the contest with a game-high 42 points on 15-of-22 shooting from the field with 12 boards, four assists and three blocks in 40 minutes.
