The 2021 NASCAR season has produced some really fun paint schemes — from the super flashy one Dale Earnhardt Jr. designed for Alex Bowman to Bubba Wallace’s Martinsville Speedway night race look to all the throwback paint schemes at Darlington Raceway.
But still, as always, nothing beats a driver racing around the track with their own face plastered on the hood of a car, and earlier this season, Corey LaJoie had his face on the hood of his car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
It’s an amazing and unbeatable look, and Denny Hamlin is the latest NASCAR driver to have his face incorporated into his paint scheme.

This is the design for his No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota for Sunday’s Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway:

Hamlin looks pensive in this paint scheme with incredible glamour-shot vibes while also feeling kind of like a meme. It’s just so good, and we can only hope this becomes a more popular trend among NASCAR teams.
Despite a strong season that has the No. 11 driver at the top of the regular-season standings, Hamlin is still racing for this first win of 2021. Maybe he’ll get an extra boost this weekend at Atlanta with his own face leading the way.
The Quaker State 400 at Atlanta is Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET (NBCSN).
