Aaron Rodgers sidesteps questions about Packers future during ‘The Match’

The Packers QB provided no clarity on his future in Green Bay during “The Match” on Tuesday night.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers passed on answering questions about his future with the Green Bay Packers during “The Match” on Tuesday night.

Asked by Brian Anderson of TNT if he’d be playing quarterback for the Packers against the Chicago Bears during the 2021 season, Rodgers had a playful but passive response.

“Yeah, I don’t know, BA we’ll see,” Rodgers said, smirking.

Asked again, this time about if he’ll be the quarterback for the Packers in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, Rodgers gave the exact same response, almost word for word.

The reigning NFL MVP is in a now public dispute with the Packers. He skipped the entire offseason workout program and it’s unclear if he’ll report to the start of training camp at the end of the month.

Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau are facing Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson in Big Sky, Montana.

The Packers will start training camp on July 28. Veterans are expected to report on July 27.
