The pipeline from Texas to Oregon is growing bigger by the day.
Less than a week removed from the Ducks landing two 4-star commits from the Lone Star State, Mario Cristobal has done it again, this time with 5-star offensive lineman, Kelvin Banks.
Banks, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle, chose Oregon over schools like LSU, Texas, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M. He is rated as the second-best tackle in his recruiting class, and the 14th best recruit in the nation.
The Ducks don’t seem to be slowing down when it comes to building up their line in the future. The commitment from Banks comes just days after Oregon landed a commitment from 4-star Cameron Williams — also from Texas — and 3-star Michael Wooten.
Before the announcement on Sunday, the Ducks were ranked No. 9 in the nation when it came to recruiting classes, but the addition of Banks will surely bump that up a bit.
