Tennessee outfielder Jordan Beck made his Cape Cod Baseball League debut Wednesday for the Harwich Mariners.
Beck, who started in right field for the Mariners in their 1-1 tie against the Bourne Braves at Doran Park, went 0-for-4 and struck out twice.
The game was delayed twice due to lightning in Bourne, Massachusetts.
Harwich, who had eight hits in the contest, scored the first run of the game in the top of the seventh.
Bourne scored the tying run in the bottom of the frame and were able to salvage a tie despite committing four errors.
During his sophomore season with the Volunteers, Beck batted .271 with 15 home runs and 64 RBIs.
He appeared in 67 games and made 66 starts for Tennessee in 2021, helping the Vols advance to the College World Series.
Beck also had 16 doubles and two triples last season.
