Even though the season was closer to over than its start by the time he finally managed to get on the court, second-year shooting guard Romeo Langford showed some promising signs of growth on both ends of the court in the 2020-21 NBA season, his defense still as good as ever.
The New Albany native demonstrated he still had his defensive skills shown off early in the 2020 postseason, and added a solid 3-pointer to his offensive arsenal he showed off in the series against the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Averaging 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game this season, Langford may still have a way yet to go to become a reliable part of the rotation, but with a hopefully healthy season incoming, we may see that materialize with a little luck.
