Malnati is -3 after Round 3. He will tee off at 10 a.m. EDT from hole No. 1 in Round 4 Sunday and is paired with Austin Eckroat.
Kramer Hickok and Bubba Watson (-10) are co-leaders after Round 3.
Malnati resides in Knoxville and played collegiately at Missouri from 2007-10.
He joined the PGA Tour in 2014 and has one career victory, the 2016 Sanderson Farms Championship.
Malnati has finished in the top 25 26 times. He has seven top-10 finishes and one second-place result. Malnati has participated in 179 career PGA Tour events, while making the cut 85 times.
