If you ask Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, he will say the offseason went according to plan. Smith-Schuster signed what is essentially a one-year contract with four voidable years on top.

Basically, what this means is once the 2021 season is over, Smith-Schuster will be looking to sign a new contract and get himself the massive raise he didn’t find this offseason. To help the process, Smith-Schuster got himself new representation.

Last season, Smith-Schuster had 97 receptions but due to the nature of the Steelers offense, only netted 831 receiving yards. Smith-Schuster is literally banking on his relationship with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger as well as a new Steelers offense will give him the bump in stats he needs to sell a new team on giving him a massive contract.
