The Miami Dolphins took the practice field this afternoon for their first day of mandatory minicamp, the latest step towards a return to football. And with every player other than All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard present, the Dolphins appeared primed to get a great look at their new squad in action as the pace picked up a bit from the past few weeks of OTAs. The rain would eventually come and spoil that good look on Day 1 — but not before the Dolphins got some of their work in.
Thankfully for Miami, there are two more days of action this week for the team to make up for lost time with the rain. But in the meantime, today served as a good test of focus for Miami amid the inclement weather.
