The Tennessee Titans will have a slew of position battles to keep an eye on this offseason, both for starting and backup roles, which should make for a more interesting offseason.
The competitions will begin taking shape when the team holds its mandatory minicamp from June 15-17, but business will really pick up when the team starts training camp on July 27.
From there, players will have an opportunity to show their stuff in live game action during the preseason, which will feature just three contests in 2021, the first of which comes on August 13.
There has been a slight change to the way roster cutdowns will work, also.
Instead of having 80-man offseason rosters and one cutdown day like last year, teams will have a 90-man roster and three cutdown deadlines this year.
Tennessee will have to shave its roster down to 85 players on Aug. 17, then to 80 players on Aug. 24, and then the final 53-man roster deadline will hit on Aug. 31.
Now, to the good stuff: here are the biggest position battles to watch for the Titans ahead of the 2021 campaign.
