As first reported by Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie is aiming for a potential return in the NBA Finals if the team makes it that far. Sources are also saying that Dinwiddie will join Brooklyn on the sidelines for games “sooner than later.”
It has felt like ages since the last time we’ve seen the 28-year-old on the court. It’s been half of a year to be exact, Dinwiddie went down with a partially torn ACL on December 27th in a game against the Charlotte Hornets. Coming into the season, he was supposed to be the X-Factor for coach Steve Nash and the squad but things quickly changed when he got hurt.

Will the coaching staff allow the Nets guard to return so soon? The organization has been extremely cautious when it has come to the health of their players and although Spencer Dinwiddie is pumped up to return, things may not fall in his favor when the time comes. But who knows.
