Browns 2021 preseason schedule now set

The Cleveland Browns preseason schedule is now set, when and where can fans get an early look at the team going up against an opponent?

The Cleveland Browns will have three chances to take a look at their team versus another team prior to the start of the 2021 NFL regular season.

The 2021 Browns preseason schedule is now set. Corresponding with the increase to 17 regular-season games, teams will only have three preseason games moving forward except for those playing in the Hall of Fame game who will have a fourth.

This year, the Browns will get a chance to see two of the top four picks from the 2021 NFL Draft in Trevor Lawrence and Kyles Pitts as well as have former Browns defensive back Jabrill Peppers in the house.

The Browns 2021 preseason schedule breaks down like this:

Week 1: Jacksonville Jaguars – Away – Saturday, August 14th at 7 PM
Week 2: New York Giants – Home – Sunday, August 22nd at 1 PM
Week 3: Atlanta Falcons – Away – Sunday, August 29th at 8 PM

Dates and times are subject to change

It will be interesting how teams handle preseason this year. In previous years, teams often rested their starters for the fourth preseason game after ramping up their snaps in the first three games.

With the Browns brining back their entire starting offense, we could see less of Baker Mayfield and company in preseason games. With a majority of the team’s defense likely new this season, fans could see a lot more of that group on the field getting used to the system and playing together.

Only one preseason home game this year for the Browns but that is made up for by having nine home games during the regular season.

The schedule, both preseason and the regular season, is now set. Mandatory minicamp kicks off next week with training camp set for later in the summer. The 2021 NFL season is slowly getting closer.
