No. 2 Texas will host South Florida in the NCAA Austin Super Regional starting on Saturday, June 12.
The Longhorns dominated the Austin Regionals against Fairfield, Southern and Arizona State by outscoring their opponents 33-5. Texas will now be playing in their 11th Super Regional and have a 19-7 all-time record in Super Regional play.
South Florida impressively defeated Florida, Miami and South Alabama to win the Gainesville Regional to advance to the program’s first Super Regional. After winning the Athletic Conference Tournament to advance to the NCAA postseason, the Bulls have since won seven of their last nine games.
