With Julio Jones being traded to the Tennessee Titans to join A.J. Brown, discussion around best wide receiver duos in the NFL is bound to happen.
The Cleveland Browns have two big-name receivers of their own in Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. The two best friends were able to team up in Cleveland after sharing time together in college at LSU.
Unfortunately, Beckham didn’t have a great first season in Cleveland under then-head coach Freddie Kitchens and tore his ACL halfway through his second year in 2020.
Landry, for his part, has been the model of consistency on the field. He also has been consistent in being available to play, missing the only game of his career due to COVID-19 contact tracing in 2020.
When the question was asked by the SportsCenter Twitter account, Landry made it clear that the Browns buddies are the best receiver duo in the NFL:

Never one to lack confidence, Landry is likely overstating the duo.
While Beckham has had great seasons in the past and has an electric skillset, he has struggled since coming to Cleveland and now has to bounce back from a major injury.
Landry, for his part, has been consistent but lacks the explosiveness of a top-level wide receiver. Landry’s career-high in yardage came in 2019 with 1,174. He has topped 1,000 three times in his seven-year career but never had double-digit touchdowns, averaging five a season.
In 2019, when both crossed 1,000 yards receiving, they combined for 10 touchdowns off of a combined 157 receptions.
Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry are a very good receiver duo. Pro Football Focus has them ranked as the 13th best in the NFL, Jarvis Landry says they are #1. Somewhere in between may be the truth.
