The San Francisco 49ers will be without both offensive lineman Justin Skule and defensive back Tarvarius Moore after a Monday to forget during OTA practices.
According to reports on Tuesday including ESPN, Skule tore his ACL while Moore suffered a similar injury but to his Achilles. Both injuries are considered long term and the pair will now likely miss the 2021 season:

Skule, a sixth-round pick in 2019, was set to factor into the discussion for the 49ers’ swing tackle position battle during training camp. The versatile lineman can also play on the interior at guard as well.
With Skule, Daniel Brunskill, Shon Coleman and rookie fifth-round pick Jaylon Moore could all be in the mix for swing tackle.
Moore, another versatile player himself, can play both safety positions and had a good look finding playing time there in 2021. This news on the 2018 third-round pick comes after San Francisco announced on Monday that safety Tony Jefferson was signed by the team.
Without Moore, Jaquiski Tartt, who re-signed with the 49ers via a one-year deal this offseason, is now the favorite to start at safety alongside Jimmie Ward in the San Francisco secondary.
