While the Philadelphia 76ers had an off night on Tuesday as they prepared for their next chance to close out the series on Wednesday, they were able to relax and watch some of the other playoff action around the league.
One performance, in particular, stole the show out in the Mile High City.
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard put on a superhuman performance going for 55 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds while knocking down an NBA Playoff record 12 3-pointers. He made two ridiculous 3-pointers late as one forced overtime and then he made another one to force a second overtime.
Unfortunately, his efforts were for naught as the Blazers fell to the Denver Nuggets 147-140.
History: Portland’s Damian Lillard has set the NBA postseason record for 3-pointers made in a game at 12 (and counting). 🔥

Sixers rookie Tyrese Maxey was like a majority of us as he was stunned by what Lillard was doing out on the floor. The rookie really only had one word for what the Blazers star was doing out there.
Wow

Wow is right as it was just an all-time great performance by Lillard. It, unfortunately, came in a loss as they will now head home for Game 6 and look to keep their season alive.
