Notre Dame is in hot pursuit of Tulsa transfer cornerback Akayleb Evans and will get their chance to impress him in-person starting Wednesday.
According to Irish Illustrated it will be a multi-day visit for Evans to Notre Dame where he’s set to visit with Marcus Freeman, Mike Mickens, and Chad Bowden.
Evans released his top-five schools on Sunday with Notre Dame being joined by Missouri, Texas, Texas Tech, and Jackson State.
Evans is listed as the 45th best transfer in the 247Sports rankings and the fifth-best cornerback who recorded career-highs in tackles, sacks, and pass deflections, and forced fumbles in 2020.
