The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking for their first playoff sweep since 1985 on Monday against the Washington Wizards, but they will have to finish it out with their MVP candidate big man.
After taking a hard fall in the first half, Embiid went straight to the locker room and he did not play in the entire second quarter. It initially looked like it was his troublesome back injury that has caused him issues all season, but it was then determined that the big fella actually injured his right knee.
The team announced at halftime that Embiid would be out for the rest of the game due to right knee soreness.

The Sixers do have a 61-60 lead at the half despite not having the services of Embiid, but this will be a tall order to close out a win against a desperate Wizards squad without their superstar leader. They will have to rely more on Dwight Howard and Mike Scott to pick up the slack.
