We have finally done it. We are officially under 100 days until the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on a football field. After another national championship winning season, Nick Saban and company are looking for a repeat performance in 2021.
The opening week matchup is against the Miami Hurricanes in Atlanta, Ga. on Sept. 2. With it now being May 30, we are now 97 days away from the start!
No one currently on Alabama’s roster wears the No. 97, but there have been some good ones in the past. Linebacker Cornelius Bennett rocked it back in the 1980s, while the late Lorenzo Washington wore it during Nick Saban’s first few seasons in Tuscaloosa.
