See Khris Middleton’s clutch game-winning OT jumper to help Bucks beat Heat

The NBA playoffs are off to a thrilling start after Khris Middleton’s game winner in overtime.

The NBA playoffs are off to a rousing start following the first game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat, which culminated in an overtime game-winning jumper by Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton that helped set the tone for the start of the postseason.

With the game tied at 107-107 with 20.6 seconds remaining, Middleton hit the game-winning shot with less than a second left on the clock to give the Bucks a 109-107 win and a 1-0 series lead on Saturday afternoon.

The Bucks and Heat battled down to the wire in Game 1, where Milwaukee’s offensive stars shined as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday and Middleton combined for 73 of the team’s 109 points.

Middleton led the Bucks with 27 points and added six rebounds and six assists.

Milwaukee got a little payback against the Heat, who defeated them in the second round of the NBA playoffs last year. But if Saturday’s game is any indication, this is going to be a hard-fought series from start to finish. Thanks to Middleton, the Bucks have a 1-0 cushion.

The Bucks and Heat will meet for Game 2 of the first round on Monday night at Fiserv Forum.
