If there was ever an easy player of the year award to give out, this would be it. The Associated Press alternate fall season football player of the year award went to Fond Du Lac’s Braelon Allen after a panel of statewide media voted Thursday.
Allen is a Wisconsin signee in the class of 2021, and starred on both sides of the football for Fond Du Lac this season. He ran for 1,047 yards while averaging 14.7 yards per carry but is coming to the Badgers as a defensive recruit. Allen starred at safety and at linebacker, totaling 57 tackles in just seven games as his team went a perfect 7-0 on the alternate year.
Up next, it’s a trip to Madison for the Wisconsin native. The Badgers landed a good one in the four-star recruit.
