When it comes to putting premium talent in the NFL, Alabama has taken things to a whole new level. Each and every year, the Crimson Tide are putting several of their former players into the league.
With the accumulation of talent over a long period of time, Nick Saban has 79 of his former players on NFL rosters — 80, if you include Jalen Hurts in that mix.
The Miami Dolphins have most former Alabama players with six, while their division foe, the New England Patriots, check in right behind them with five. The Las Vegas Raiders also have five.
On the flip side, only one team doesn’t have an Alabama player: the New Orleans Saints.
Sure, some fans may want to claim Alvin Kamara, but he’s a little bit different than even a guy such as Hurts. Outside of one year in Oklahoma, Hurts spent his entire career in Tuscaloosa.
Separating things out by division was also interesting. Of the 80 players, 48 are in the AFC. Wait until you see how the divisions are broken down, too. Enjoy all that — and more — below!
